Author’s note: The hypocrisy of the following does not escape me.
I have brought this to people’s attention before, so now I’ll bring it to yours: I hate meta-blogging. I hate having my time wasted by reading your blog about your blog.
Seriously, I get it. You think blogging is awesome. I knew that by the simple fact that you have a blog. And I don’t care about your big redesign - I read blogs through Google Reader, as God intended. Your wordpress theme (that you didn’t download from a website - oh no, that’s for punters - you paid someone to design it just for you!) doesn’t impress me. It could consist solely of a unicorn crapping our post in rainbow-colored letters for all I know. The only I notice is if you use bold and/or italics.
Once more, just to make sure that I get the idea across - Content is everything. Writing about your underlying framework is not content.
Starting today, anyone in my feeds who blogs about blogging gets unsubscribed.
Non-full-text feeds, you’re next.
